That chocolate cake and ice-cream

Why is life so hard on us,
I’d really like to know,
When all the things we love so much,
Are vices that have to go.
That chocolate cake and ice-cream,
That plate of curly fries,
Why do they taste so yummy,
As the fat piles on our thighs!
When we feel we’re getting stressed out,
A ciggy will help us chill,
The nicotine will work its magic,
But the tar will make us ill….
And when the week-end gets here,
And we go out on the pop,
We have such fun as the drinks go down,
And we don’t know when to stop.
But come next day you find out,
It wasn’t so clever to do,
Your head is banging, your stomach’s sore,
You think you’ve caught the flu!
So this is what I’m asking you,
Do we carry on the trend?
This unhealthy downward spiral…..?
Hell yes…. It’s too nice to end!
