Stop and look and listen,
You’re going far too fast,
Take stock of what’s around you,
Before it’s in the past.

Breathe in and smell life’s pleasures,
Breathe out and say ‘thank you’,
It’s such a heady feeling,
To show such gratitude.

Reach out and touch the people,
That pass you every day,
A smile is all it takes,
As you go along your way.

Don’t complain about the weather,
Or the traffic on the road,
Don’t complain about the children,
Or your boss, or your workload.

Just stop and look and listen,
Greet each day with a lovely smile,
This is an amazing life you have,
So walk the happy mile.
