I am the butterfly of Hope

I will be like a whisper floating past your ear

I am the butterfly of Hope

My wings are blue with hints of gold

I am the butterfly of Faith
I’m there when your need is great
I’m white with a dusting of silver
Just call me, I’m never late.

I am the butterfly of happiness
I share love and joy around
My yellow wings glint in the sun
Sprinkling warmth without a sound.

I am the butterfly of sweet dreams
I watch over you at night
My wings are black as ebony
Tipped with stars in the moonlight.

I’m the butterfly of all good things
But I’m rarely ever seen
I’m the colours of the rainbow
Painting flowers, red, yellow and green.

And whilst you will never see me,
You will know that I am there,
I will be like a whisper floating past your ear,
And sweet perfume in the air.
