A Poem for a Friend in Need

I may not be able to move mountains,
or make the sun shine for you today,
I cannot turn back the hands of time,
or make the sad things go away,
But what I can do for you is to be there,
with a shoulder for you to cry on,
A hand to hold, an ear to bend,
And a friend you can always rely on.
